Crossing the glacier stream Heljara and snowfields on the trail from Kolbeinsdalur to Svarfadalur. This area is called Trollskagi and since it is believed to be the realm of trolls and the like it is still held in some awe. The glacier Deildarlsjokull lies ahead on the saddle of the mountain's ridge. It is about a mile and a half away and 500 feet higher.
