Favorites in Iceland & Greenland

We don't serve a large number of clients each year, so these favorites aren't the result of scientific calculations. These are some of the tours that last year' travelers got excited about - or else they represent tours that we ourselves hold as favorites, or they are in interesting areas which we find ourselves trying to revisit over and over.

3 Favorite Horse Tours

Fascinating Northern Iceland : Riding from a northern fjord and up through valleys formed by roaring rivers and ringed with snow topped mountains. One of the objectives is the Lake Myvatn, considered the lushest biological environment on or near the Arctic Circle.

Thorsmork: A popular and easy 5 day ride through Iceland's most spectacular park, with canyons, rivers and forests. Riding with a herd of loose horses, staying in mountain huts and community centers, there's lots to be seen, and a chance to try many horses, on its 120 km of riding.

Elves and Trolls: Explore the beautiful northern fjords and valleys, with a glimpse into Iceland's history and culture. This is a fun, not-too-hard 8 day ride that starts from a lovely northern farm and ends with several days on a peninsula in the Arctic Circle full of sheep, elves and trolls.
